Live from the only wifi in Kerville

Today was a great day!

It was my day off so from 12pm-1am I have been free from camp.
So whats a girl to do on her day off?
Drive an hour to La Cantera Shopping Center!!I spent a wonderful day at Niemans, Nordstroms, Godiva, and Lilly of course!
So funny story... the girls in my cabin's counselor last year works at this Lilly and is a Lilly lover like me so they told me to say hi. I did! Her name is Dana she is so cute and to top it off she is a Theta!! She wrote the girls a note and sent them with the paper puffs to decorate the cabin with!
Their is lots of Lilly Love at Camp Mystic!
I also enjoyed a chocolate strawberry from Godiva which was delicious and ran into a sorority sister while at Nordstroms buying Kiehls tinted moisturizer.
It was so good to see a familiar face. I got 2 cute Lilly tops and some stationary from there.
Man oh man how I love shopping...

A Post from Camp!

Hey All!

I am here at Camp and have some time on the internet so here is an update on camp.

1. My cabin is amazing. My girls are so cute and fun
2. I am on the waterfront all day teaching diving, racing, and swim lessons.
3. I am getting a great tan
4. My counselor group won the skit competition giving us an early night off (3 hours early! Sooo great)
5. I am off to La Cantera shops tomorrow in San Antonio for my day off with a movie, shopping, and a much needed pedicure.

Thank you so much for those of you that have written me. I get the biggest smile from recieving mail! Yal are to precious and I am oh so thankful!

Look for a post tomorrow when I will have my laptop and wifi...

Camp Letters

I absolutley love staying in touch with the world, this is why I love blogging so much.
Going to camp is hard because not only is their no internet, but no phone or email as well. So I have to resort to snail mail. I would love nothing more than to get letters from my friends even my blog friends so if you would like to send me a letter or postcard while I am at camp shoot me an email and I will send you my address.

Summer Camp

Summer camp is something I think every child should experience so today I am going to tell you about the camp in my life...

Camp Mystic- This is where I work. This will be my second summer at Camp Mystic located in the Texas Hill Country. We are right on the Guadeloupe River aka "The Guad." This is where we have waterfront where we teach swimming, diving, water sports, and many other water activities. We also have an excellent archery program and horseback and dressage. Mystic is an all girls camp that is about having fun and loving God. Every Sunday we attend Chapel Hill and a morning service. As a counselor we lead nightly devotionals and prayers as well. The camper are divided into to tribes Tonks and Kiowas, this provides the friendly competition for the whole camp term... ending in War Canoe. I love Mystic being in nature and with God really replenishes your spirit

As a child I lived in Florida and went to Camp Wesumkee which is owned by Girl Scouts in the Florida Keys. Here, we slept in Chikees and did a lot of water based activities. It is a beautiful camp on the Atlantic Ocean for experienced campers and offers snorkeling, tidal pool observations, swimming, nature and marine study.
