The Social Network

If you have not seen this yet than what are you waiting for. It really is good. I think it is really interesting because I was in the start up of Facebook when you had to have an .edu email and I got invited from a friend at SMU. It can span all generations and different age groups view it differently. It was really interesting, well written, well made, and very enjoyable.

Life As we Know It

Well this movie is good and very enjoyable, but left me feeling a bit blah and unsure of what emotion I should feel upon leaving. It will make you cry and it will make you laugh, but most of all it is the best chick flick available right now so check it out! Plus it has man candy and Katherine Heigl.

RED

OMG I loved it. Well please note I love action movies but this one was great. Pure entertainment. I am a firm believer that not every movie has to change your life or create some elaborate work of art, some exist simply to give you enjoyment, and this is one of those films. Old men kicking butt all with an entangled love story and scandal... oh yeah!

Letters To Juliet

So Mommy and I went to see this today is attempts to avoid the thunderstorm brewing here in the Heart of Texas and all I can say is GO SEE IT! This movie had me laughing, crying, and trying to convince my mom to let me go to culinary school in Italy. I really loved the humor of this film. The leading man, is my kind of boy... sarcastic to the max. This is a chick flick so guys be warned, but most of my readers are ladies and let me tell you... you will love this one!
Next up Robin Hood! (I am waiting to see it in Dallas at a good movie theater!)

Zombieland Review

This is not a scary movie... I repeat this is NOT a scary movie...

This movie was great! It is hilarious and had M, my two guy friends, and I rolling!
It takes the story of a post zombie infected USA and goes through the list of rules to survive in what he now calls the USA..."Zombieland."
It is so funny! My favorite rules are "Beware of Bathrooms" and "Always Double Tap"
For those of you who do not like gore, I will admit there is a lot of it. My BFF/Roomie, M, is terrified of everything and she found this movie funny! There is so much humor in this movie it counter acts the gore. So be the judge yourself if gore really really bothers you skip this one, but if it only bothers you a little then try something new with this film. No one said you aren't allowed to close your eyes hehe!

I say: All adult movie fans should see this... It is original and a great laugh.

Major Weekend Recap!

Happy Mothers Day to All the Mommy's Out There!

Today I am in the DFW and I went to a mothers day tea with my Dot Dot! I wore a blue and flower Lilly skirt with a pink silk top... so cute (pic to come) Then we went to my cousins wedding in downtown Ft Worth. It was a very nice wedding, not like my wedding will be but still very nice.

Also... STAR TREK!! Go see this movie I saw it Friday night and I loved it! It has a great story line and excellent character development!

I have only had Disney Channel crushes when I was younger.

I never hopped on the I am a college kid who loves High School Musical, Hannah Montanna, or the Jonas Brothers.

But--- best friend M literally drug me out of my nap to go see the early show of 17 Again...

I am so glad she did!!!!
Zach Effron- outside of HSM is my new love!!

Reasons Zach and I are Perfect:

1. I enjoy Golf and Basketball just like he does
2. I am a trained musical theatre singer -> he was in Hairspray
3. I am actually in the age of dating him unlike all the 13 year olds screaming for him
4. Mrs. Mallory Effron sounds so good!

Summer Movies from a Film Major

Many of you know I am a film major well here are my movies to see this summer by topics!

1. Action Movies: This summer is FULL of amazing action movies: Transformer 2, Star Trek, X-Men Origins, Angels and Demons, and another Terminator! Also Johnny Depp lovers Public Enemies comes out where he plays a hunky bank robber opposite Christian Bale. And for Brad Pitt lovers, Quinten Tarentino's Inglorious Bastards will thrill as a WWII movie. I will see all of these but if I had to pick one..

2. Comedy: This summer will be a lot of excellent and stupid comedies choose wisely: Dance Flick, Year One, The Hangover, Funny People and Land of the Lost. I will see all but Dance Flick... My one to see is...

3. Chick Flicks: I am not a huge chick flick person, but M and W are so: Ghost of Girlfriends Past, Management, The Proposal, My Sisters Keeper, and The Ugly Truth... My Chick Filck Summer pick is... My Sisters Keeper
4. Family Films:Battle for Terra, Night at the Museum 2, Up, Ice Age, G-Force and of course my obvious pick for Family movie... Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!
