Margaritas and Country Music!

This weekend EmStone and another one of my Theta sisters attended the Margarita and Salsa Fest! It was such an amazing time. We were front row for The Eli Young Band and The Randy Rogers Band. Eli Young was our favorite and the reason why we went. They are such great performers and they just looked like they were having so much fun on stage! It was a great concert.
We also got to taste test all the margaritas, salsa, queso, and guacamole that was entered for judging. All the money went to The Arthritis Foundation and each contestant had a jar for their charity of choice. By giving money to their jar you also gave them one peoples choice award. My girls and I voted for Ninfas and Chuy's (two Texas favorites.) Here we are with the Chuy's fish. It was great that the event was not only fun but it gave back as well. After 6 hours of walking around in our cowgirl boots we were beat. "Estamos quedamos" as they say in Argentina (we are burned out.) It was a great way to start my senior year, especially with great friends!

  1. Did you girls get Theta points for volunteering to taste test?
