Wish They All Could Be California Girls...

Well gang,

I have been living in LA for about two weeks now!
It has been an exciting roller coaster of emotions.

I am currently living in Beverly Hills, and before we think it is so exciting, I am living on an air mattress in my gracious friends living room.

Since I have been here however I have had lots of fun... on the cheap

I went and hiked Runyon Canyon... and ps I have a new found respect for all the people who do this on weight loss shows this crap is hard and I consider myself in shape. But check the view!

We also had a fabulous time at Venice Beach.
We got in some sun and saw plenty of crazies!

Some other fun things I have done is brunch at Urth Cafe (an Entourage favorite) and Dough Boys, as well as attend my first roof top LA party and dinner at Cecconi's at Melrose and Robertson.

Sorry for the long blog delay but I am trying to get settled out here and figure out how LA works lol... but great posts to come about my new life and new apt

  1. Urth Cafe is the best...but if you want to check out some fantastic vegan/vegetarian options, try Cheebos on Sunset. Then theres the Bourgeois Pig for fantastic coffee and tea and cake on Franklin. And La Petit Four on Sunset is a great restaurant for trying to spot celebrities. Friday nights, there's this club open called A Clockwork Orange on Hollywood and Vine that plays super fun 80's music. And DV8 in the Hollywood and Vine shopping center is a pretty fun club too. There's also a little sushi bar on one of the corners of the 3rd Street Promenade whos name is escaping me, but they do the most AMAZING $4 sushi of your life, plus miso soup and a Sapporo. My check has never been above $12 there.

Just in case you run out of fun stuff to go see and want to hit up a few of my favorites. :) These are always the first places I hit up when I'm back home. Enjoy!
