Happy Birthday Queen!

First off HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND!

I am first and foremost an American, but my family roots hale from England. I was so fortunate to be in London for the Queen Mum's 100th Birthday. My parents and I attended the parade in her honor and watched her wave to the crowd from Buckingham Palace. I had no idea what a great experience this was but now feel so fortunate to have been there.
In honor of this I will be sipping on my favorite Earl Grey tea!
My trip to London was where I found my love of tea as well. Mommy, Dot Dot and I had formal tea at the Ritz, and afternoon tea every day during our two weeks in London.

I am so excited that Argentina also partakes in a tea tradition. Their tea is served post-siesta (another cultural experience I am muy excited about.)

If you want to know more about tea I highly suggest reading these post from my favorite southern etiquette teacher Miss Janice. January was tea history month and she did a wonderful series on the history of tea, and how to properly serve and/ or attend any tea.
