5th Ave Easter Parade

Happy Easter

Today was a great day my roommate and I went to church at the beautiful St. Patrick's Cathedral then went to the 5th Ave Easter Bonnet Parade.

All of 5th Ave is closed down for the craziness to begin.

Now these aren't your southern Easter bonnets.

They are big! Colorful! And very themed!

This couple were dressed in their Sunday best with an egg-cellent hat!

Of course in NYC, we are going to have a little craziness in drag

And my favorite... wow! How can she keep that on her head.

OOTD and Musings

Here is the outfit I am wearing today:Banana Republic Skirt, White Blouse Forever 21, Tory Burch Flips, Yurman Bracelet, Class Ring, Pearl Earrings, Necklace from a Craft fair and pink Skagen Watch

Well I asked the Future Dr. to my semi formal next weekend, and he said yes! So that is off my to do list...
The rest of the day looks like this:

• write press release
• work
• lunch
• Spanish class
• Writing for Media Markets Class
• Clean room
  
• Get all tshirt money together for Theta Olympics
• meeting with professor
• Study spanish
• Go to a screening
• Study Spanish
• Possible Karaoke if I feel good with Spanish

Then tomorrow I am off to the DFW, Tx for Easter Break... the nice thing about going to a Christian school is we get Good Friday and the following Monday off since they want us to be fully with our families on Easter Sunday.
My plans over break are to spend time with my family, catch up on Gossip Girl, shop in D-town on Friday for my 21st Bday present from my parents, and have Easter with my cousins in Arlington. This is so much fun since there is a large group of us in the 16-23 range!

So all I am home! Mommy and Dad left this morning early. I slept in more then went to lunch with my grandparents and left after that. Tonight we are going to see Observe and Report, I will let you know how it is.

Today we went to church, the to my cousins house for a wonderful Easter lunch with the whole family on my grandfathers side. We spent last night with my grandmothers side. I love how close my family is!! Then we watched The Masters.We are a huge golf fan family... even me! I love watching golf...
