Let's Go to the Fair

The Texas State Fair has always been a tradition in my family and is one of those things about Texas I hold near and dear to my heart! And that is where I am today!

For you non-Texans, this is Big Tex and he has been around since the 1950's greeting everyone to the fair!

Today the Texas Shootout football game between Baylor University and Texas Tech (aka the BUTT Bowl hehe) will be held at the Cotton Bowl inside the fair. Mom, Dot Dot, Grandaddy, my friends and I will all be cheering on the Bears, riding rides at the fair, and getting a world famous Fletcher's Corn Dog! YUM!
